Tottori Rover Challenge 2027

Three days to put rovers to the ultimate test on “Luna Terrace,” a demanding field shaped by sand and rugged terrain.
The Tottori Rover Challenge 2027 will be held again as the third, from Friday, March 19 to Sunday, March 21, 2027.
Team registration is now open!
This year we have added a new intermediate Basic Division so that teams can compete at a level that matches their skills. Building on last year’s format, the competition has evolved even further.
Whether you’re entering for the first time or coming back for redemption, we look forward to your application.

Event Dates
Rover Inspection & Technical Networking Session: Friday, March 19, 2027
Competition Dates: Saturday, March 20 – Sunday, March 21, 2027
*In the event of rain, the competition will generally proceed as scheduled. If severe weather is expected, alternative competition activities are planned to be held at an indoor facility at the venue. The event dates will not be postponed or rescheduled.
Competition Registration Period
Thursday, October 1, 2026 – Friday, January 8, 2027
Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
Walk-in participation on the day of the event will not be permitted.
If you need to cancel your registration due to unavoidable circumstances, please be sure to contact the event organizers.
